New Orleans For Dummies (Dummies Travel) Review
New Orleans has something in common with Mecca - is just a place that you must visit at least once in your life. Moi, Cher, I have to plan several times and held my great grandchildren and two great grandchildren this summer.
Lucky me! "New Orleans for Dummies" is an excellent section for "families with children" and the chance to see the children targeted posts in three days, exactly the time that remains. We will begin with breakfast at the Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter, then pass through the openingMarkets, St. Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square, and at the Aquarium of the Americas for the rest of the morning and the city zoo in the afternoon. Second day is a visit to the Mardi Gras float to keep an eye floating production, then a visit to the Museum of Art and City Park. Third day is Children's Museum and Riverwalk Marketplace. (The Louisiana Nature Center and Planetarium, and Six Flags have been devastated by Katrina, and damages are closed.)
What makes this guidePaper raise their attention on the damage in all of New Orleans after Katrina. He also proposes a "tour of the devastation of Katrina, so that tourists have an idea of its size and perhaps even monetary support sooner or later.
Another stand-out is the attention to details of travel. For the inexperienced traveler, writer Julia K. Lane Lines to do the designers for a successful tour. This is clearly written and organized. This part alone is worth the price ofbook.
All the major tourist locations are described: location, opening times, prices (in publication 2007), maps. Each of the hurricane damage is so tight, any potential disappointment.
Anyone would have done the planning for a trip to New Orleans, in addition to this book to highlight the places of interest, then go back and plan for details. Personally, I use two guides, a map and a notebook, when I plan a trip. "New Orleans for Dummies" will surely get there and see agood time. "Laissez les bons temps rouler!" (Let the Good Times Roll!)
